JOIN A SUB-COMMITTEE

Are you interested in getting involved with the NDLSS? Being a member of a sub-committee is a great learning experience and is a fantastic stepping stone if you are looking to join the committee in the year to follow.

Below you can express your interest in joining one of the following sub-committees:

PUBLICATIONS

PUBLICATIONS SUBCOMMITTEE EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST


The Publications Sub-Committee works in conjunction with the Publications Portfolio to organise the law society publications throughout the year.

CAREERS

CAREERS AND EDUCATION SUBCOMMITTEE EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST


Trinity Hatch (Education Representative) and Rose Bowdidge (Careers Representative) are currently seeking students to become a part of the NDLSS Careers and Education Subcommittee. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the NDLSS, and looks great on a CV too!


Your duties will include assisting Trinity and Rose at Careers and Education events, as well as contributing to the writing of the Annual Careers Guide which is to be released later in the year.

STUDENT EXPERIENCE

The Welfare Sub-Committee works in conjunction with the Student Welfare, First and Final Year Representatives to workshop ideas around how the NDLSS can support students and our community.

EVENTS

The Events Sub-Committee works in conjunction with the Social Representative to facilitate social events within the law school such as the annual cocktail party, law ball and quiz night.

COMPETITIONS

The Competitions Sub-Committee works in conjunction with the Competitions Portfolio to organise the law school competitions throughout the year.
